Not enough in formation. Generally if you fail, try again. You can analyze your failure and learn from it. Timing may not be for you right now. Can the task wait, until you find time to learn a little more about it in order to have a better chance of success

There are cases where a person did not succeed for years and years, such as Colonel Harland Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken. (You can read his story by doing a search on google).

Only you can decide if this task is worth putting that much effort into it.

But I once heard that the definition of failure was trying to do the same thing the same way over and over again and expect different results.

If this is something that is worth attempting again, is there a different way of doing this that you haven't tried. Is there someone you can go to that you trust and ask their opinion on how to complete the task?

For me, I pray for wisdom from God, and often he gives me that lightbulb moment where I can finally resolve the issue.

Ultimately we cannot make this decision for you, but I want to encourage you that if you believe that this task is worth succeeding in, keep on going with it. Otherwise, I'd recommend cutting your losses. Perhaps you can come back to it at another time.

You keep failing again and again means that you keep on finding out WHAT DOES NOT WORK! You actually learn what NOT TO DO again. Soon you'll be there, my friend. Life is a game of NUMBERS! Hang on there :-) Keep trying.

Do not allow yourself to be disheartened by any failure as long as you have done your best.

you need to be a bit more specific in your question. if you are attempting something that you do not have the skills for then you should stop. for example, if you are trying to add an addition on your house and you are not a carpenter.
but, if you are capable of doing it and you just haven't gotten it quite right then persistence is what matters. when thomas edison invented the light bulb it took him thousands of attempts to get it right. and when asked why he didnt give up he just said that he learned thousands of ways it wouldnt work.
in any event, stick to it and you will succeed. if you would like a free cd on persistence visit www.beasuccessmagnet.com and send an email requesting it.

How important is it to you.

I faced the same situation and made a serious analysis of the problem.

I had to make a tough decision and chose to stop in this pursuit and move in another direction

You may need to abandon
