Be more specific. How formal is it?
Ok, it's not formal. So either dress up your shirt or your pants w/ a pair of boots. Go 4 the jeans tucked into the boots & a nice short sleeve shirt. Not a t-shirt. You don't really wanna wear a skirt or heels if your dancing.

If it's not a formal, like a homecoming or a cotillion, then just go with something comfortable. Jeans, a cute top and shoes. Don't go in a dress or skirt, you may look out of place, and be uncomfortable when the majority of the other girls are in jeans.

If it's formal wear a nice dress for dancing, anything you'd think is good enough. for me I'd want anything that complements my body and makes me look royal (no tiara necessary.) if it's only semi formal look at the latest fashions, and find what you like:)

well....if its formal, go out and buy a cute and simple dress, but if it is a casual dance, you should just wear a cute denim skirts paired with a cute, flowy top with a pair of flats!
