I slammed by finger in my front door. At first I must've been in shock, but I drove myself to the hospital. I didn't cry immediately, but later at the hospital and waiting for hours in pain, I cried for hours. You'd think it was just a finger tip, but on a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 being extrememly painful, it ranked about 20. The nurses in the emergency room ignored me I guess because I wasn't in immediate danger, I had to leave the room and hunt down a nurse to get some pain relief. After my x-ray and evaluation by a doctor.... I found out it wasn't even broken!
I was in soooooo much pain, I wonder what would it have felt like if I actually broke it???

I was picked on very bad in school. I was an army brat so we moved a lot. Every time I entered a new school the torment would start. I hated to even go to school. I'd fake sickness all the time. One day I got sick at school and me mom had to come get me. When I walked in the classroom to get my stuff, the class started booing. At that point my mother knew that I hadn't been lying to her about being picked on. Very painful.

So sorry you broke your arm! The pain can be indescribable. I know, because I broke my wrist a couple of years ago, was set incorrectly, had surgery to correct a 26 degree mal union and the pain and lack of total mobility will be with me for the rest of my life. Thank God your arm will heal and in time the pain will become a memory for you.

Years ago I was jumping a dirt bike & my feet slipped off of the footpegs when I landed. It was a 1975 suzuki and I actually dented the top of the steel gas tank.

Slicing half of my index finger open while trying to get the seed out of an avocado. Took 4 stitches from the top of my finger nail to the bottom of my fingernail... OUCH!!

Had my leg amputated, twice.
The second time was a choice (a stupid one at that) but both times were pretty gruesome.
If this not a question about physical pain but emotional; finding my Dad dead on his bathroom floor.
God I should just lighten up.
