I'm 50 now, but when i was 5, i ran to the local store every day as in the window was a set of drums. My mum promised me faithfully that " Santa would bring them for me ". One day , while i was looking at them, another boy with his granny was told " you are getting them off Santa. I ran home broken hearted to tell mum. Xmas day arrived and when i went downstairs with my brother, there they were !! i was stood in amazement. At that moment my brother ( 7 ) grabbed the sticks and proceeded to do a Cozy Powell on them ( fast drum ) and promptly put a big hole straight through the drum.........I was heartbroken and mum nearly killed him..........................

When i was younger one year I wanted a bike sooo bad. We unwrapped all are gifts and no bike. Then, a few minutes later I hear my parents singing "Santa Claus is coming to Town" and then they came rolling out a brand new bike. I will never forget it, it was the most exciting present I every got for Xmas, and a great memory.

A grand piano from my godfather.I was playing the piano when I was younger, but never had one of my own.I was 11at the time. I came home from school one day to find a huge dark ,brown piano in the living room with a huge red bow around it.I remember how shiny it was and how excited I was.It was the first great present I remember receiving as a child.

I can remember coming down stairs one christmas morning when I was about 9 in the early 70's and seeing a Raleigh Chopper bike....I thought my life was complete. I was totally blown away and it was a magical moment I will not forget.

My first bmx when I was 12. I had no idea I was getting one.
They hid it in my Nan's shed and brought it down when I was in bed. Parents are so sneaky. It was awesome.
This was back in the 80's when bmx was sooo popular.

Money was real tight one year and I wanted a Yamaha portable sound machine. My husband gave the money to a friend of mine to buy it for me. I was shocked when he gave it to me Christmas morning.
