It would be nice but here is where freedom comes in. They can choose for themselves when and where to help...and as much as I'd love to see the poor and sick in the USA taken care of first?

borders and nations are man-made constructs, as is hunger. it is unnecessary for anyone to go without the necessities; it is human beings who create the conditions under which we live.As to deciding who should be helped; you should help whomever you perceive needs your help. When you say to yourself 'someone should do something' ask yourself what you are doing.
I understand your frustration, it is difficult to understand why people don't do something to change conditions in your country. What are you doing?

I agree with you 100%. I have thought this for years. And its not just celebrities its everyone in general. They sponser kids from Africa when we have so many in need right here!
