The Pyramids were built by "WIMPEY"

Pyramids

They were built in Scotland and shipped over to Egypt in a pea green boat which was crewed by an owl and a pussycat. The Egyptians were so pleased with them that, they built an effigy of the pussycat. It is now known as "The Sphinx", Which, co-incidentally was the name of the boat!

It has been suggested that the Pyramids in Egypt are not the products of the civilizations and cultures known to conventional history, but are instead the much older remnants of some hitherto unknown advanced ancient culture.

This civilization is supposed to have been destroyed in ancient times by some devastating catastrophe brought about by the end of the last ice age, around 10,500 BC.

For the Great Pyramid of Giza in particular, it is maintained that it was either built by this now-vanished civilization, or that its construction was somehow influenced by knowledge (now lost) acquired from this civilization.

The existence of such a civilization is hypothesised by theorists who believe this is the only reasonable explanation how the most advanced of ancient historical cultures, such as Egypt and Sumer, were able to reach such high levels of unequaled technological advancement from their very beginnings with what might appear to be little or no precedent.

This precedent they argue is not unknown, but found all over the globe in the form of megalithic ruins discovered at the beginnings of history but too complex they argue to have been constructed by the cultures that are attributed to building them by the mainstream.

"How does a complex civilization spring full blown into being? Look at a 1905 automobile and compare it to a modern one. There is no mistaking the process of 'development'. But in Egypt there are no parallels. Everything is right there from the start." - John Anthony West

I think that they were made by humans. Just because a civilization was ancient, doesn't mean that they were less knowledgeable. Many cultures were destroyed and secrets were lost, by invading armies. I also saw a show on the history channel about the building of the pyramids. It showed how slaves and construction workers built the pyramids, how it was an organizational marvel. It was very impressive.

You see the problem today is that we live in tomorrow - technology is improving at such a rate we always feel obsolete and that we can't achieve things like this.
Go back to earlier ages and we did not have this attitude. The Egyptians believed they lived in an age of wonders and unparaelled civilisation - they could do anything they tried to do and it was this attitude more than anything that allowed them to make the pyramids. Their tools were not primative - they were state of the art at the time - the best in the world! They believed they could do it, planned carefully, worked hard and did it. If they had our modern attitude to things then they would never have done it.

I think they were built by humans, but quite possibly they had some technology they developed over time to help them out with the process. We can't do it because we haven't made pyramids since the anciant Egyptians, so who's going to sit an invent a pyramid building device?

Magicians in Acienct egypt had already invented the hologram at 2000bc (that is a fact but its kept very hush by magicians). The Egyptians had enough know-how to get the pyramids done and more that enough human resources.
