forcing people to join compulsory military will not be democratic idea as it hinders your freedom of choice law
if an individual is forced to military training he may abuse the knowledge against the common citizens, it is true it will discipline you but mechanical behavior waiting for orders may became apart of the personality which in future can snatch the decision making powers

compulsory military service should not be forced on anyone anywhere. Some people are not cut out for a certain job and some are. It would be like making someone become and accountant for 6 months against their will. Compulsory military service propagates the military mentality and slows progress towards a change in international thinking. Respecting authority, discipline, politeness, etc, can be taught by good parents, the military seperates people from individualism making them believe they are a cog in the machine rather than a free, breathing, thinking human.

Definitely not.Consciption has proven throughout history to be useless in raising and training an Army.If India should really want to improve their chances in the World cup of 2007 they should have BOTH the Chappells coaching them.THEY could raise and train an Army to at least win ONE game

in any country it is good;it teaches you good manners, obedience and discipline VERY GOOD. i did 18 MONTHS IN FRANCE i hated it but do not regret it; the answer is YES YES YES ANYWHERE in the world
