The cartoon strip 'Peanuts' by the late Charles Shultz is unquestionably the most successful comic strip of all time. It was the longest running strip ever with a single artist. The comic ran for half a century, and Mr. Shultz drew every strip himself. Other long running strips, such as Family Circus, have been passed off to other artists, however Shultz did not want to that, he believed that the original spirit of the cartoon could only be maintained if he were the artist.
So.....my question:
It has been said that the reason the comic was so successful is that there is at least one Peanuts character that everyone can identify with. Which character from the strip do you see in yourself? Explain why.
