I do agree wholeheartedly. A few encouraging words from another, in the right place can make a world of difference in our outlook on things, and cheer us up considerably.

I can not deni that from time to time it is helpfull to talk to people .When seeking advice or giving instructions talking can be a very effective way of communicating .
We must not forget that body language can offer as much information and often more then the spoken word .
People have the ability to lie and create misleading information .
It is sometimes more informative to watch someone then listen to them to get an understanding of what might be going on .

Yes, I do agree. I think that is why some people use Yahoo!Answers. They really need to talk and don't know where to go for help. That's sad, because they must feel so alone :-( If we talk to someone, that someone needs to be trustworthy and loyal.

Absolutley!!!! It's amazing what the spoken word can do for your feelings - I think it's incredible. Like, if you're slightly irritated with something all you need to do is find someone to tell that to. My mom and I talk all the time about just...stuff!!! We have such busy schedules that it makes it difficult sometimes to talk to one another. If only people could learn to communicate their feelings to another human being, I think there would be less problems in the world.

Definitely true. I find it takes the weight off my shoulders. Everyone at some point has something to talk about whether it'll be getting a new pair of shoes to what they're going to have for dinner. It's human nature. That's what makes us individuals.

Definitely we are human and cannot survive alone we need to communicate and touch for our own well being, I heard of those poor orphans in Romania who were left in there cots all day long never being touched or talked to, many died not from lack of food but from lack of touch and love. So yes communication whether through talking or touch is vital for our existance.

I agree.
What helps me just as much is keeping a journal. I even write it all out (my feelings) in a letter and throw it away after wards. Just releasing built up thoughts is good.
Keeping "it" all inside will give you ulcers to name one reason to vent.
Another good reason to vent is you will explode emotionally on some unsuspecting person sooner or later. It's best you control when to release stress/ emotions.

I very much agree, sometimes when I'm depressed just having an upbeat conversation with someone can change my day from bad to better.

Definately. Even if it's just your friends about trivial problems, or a counsellor about something more serious, having someone to talk to always helps. As they say, a problem shared is a problem halved.
