Our drama class (all boys school) is doing a Harry Potter based play this year. Because I am a bit shorter than most of the class, I got picked out to play Hermione.

I need to watch the movies and read the books again, but my mom has asked me what my costume (or even costumes) will probably look like, as she is probably going to need to buy some extra things that the school can't provide.

What do you think would make up a good Hermione costume?

Get a wig of brown curly hair. If you can, find one that's on the frizzy, pouffy side.
Then get a black robe for the uniforms, and a wand.
Maybe get a stuffed animal to be her cat, it's a long haired orange tabby (I think).

There are a lot of costume in stores right now, I'm sure you can find something authentic in a local costume store or rental shop.

A blonde wig, trousers, turtle-neck (black for both trousers and turtle-neck), and a gold and pink striped headband...once you've Wal-Mart on your section, they used to promote this stuff...yet i do not understand now that Harry Potter isn't so "new" if this stuff are handy now or no longer.
