L word rocks. Season 3 had some terrible moments for its fans so let's all hope S4 will give smth better to work with (I mean come on people, we want Bette and Tina back together! You not only had to kill Dana, but ruin Shane's commitment ceremony as well... shame on you!).

The L Word is absolutely fantastic...how unbelievably hot is Shane? the best season was season 2 but i like season three and the whole plot with Moira cos its so culturally deviant for TV to show someone who is transforming gender...but it just breaks all the moulds which i think is making us as a society become more open minded.

I personally long for a depiction of queer female life that doesn't ignore and degrade bisexuals, misrepresent hispanics, that actually has butch characters, that realistically portrays transpeople, and that doesn't rely on soap opera cliches combined with racism, inconsistant character development, plot holes you can drive a truck through, and a tendency to kill off or remove any actresses that disagree with the executive vision. L word is like a big phoney parody of lesbian life, I wish we had something more realistic on tv...

It's OK, but it's really just another soap.

Their idea of butch women is laughable - from the wispy 'Shane' to the glorious 'Moira' who they ruined by making transgendered. Do they think all butch women want to be men? All the more disappointing since many of those involved in making the programme are definitely on the butch continuum themselves.

It gives out very strange messages with the Moira character - unsupervised testosterone injections? I know it's just TV, but that is irresponsible.

I love it to. Its a shame that we don't have a programe like it over here. We gave the Americans queer as folk. I have seen the whole of season 3, i don't think its as good as the last 2. Sinse when did Helena become Miss nice?

we love it! but heartbroken that Dana died...we loved her and Alice together....Alice is so funny! still not liking Helena too much...or Moira the transgender character. Carmen is Hot!...but now off the show?! I hear Marina is supposed to come back next season, though.

I love the L word and cant wait till the next season starts.. it is one of the only reason I still pay for cable TV... if I could find a place on the internet to download eppisodes and not pay for cable I would... because it is a waste to me to pay for tv when I only pay to watch one show... LOL

Yeah, I enjoy watching it too. Ermm, just for the lust factor really, as it is quite over the top... what's up with that Moira/Max character? S/him needs to be removed...
Long live Shane- She's hot!!!
