He calls up James Randi on the phone and asks him to do it for him.
Seriously, James Randi wrote an awesome book called "The Truth About Uri Geller". It is definitely worth a read. James Randi can duplicate all of Uri's tricks, and he does not claim to have any "special abilities". Randi is a master magician, though, and very good at sleight of hand....

Maybe he does these 'con tricks' with 'doctored spoons' etc. But, how does he do it with 'those brought to him?' How is it that seemingly 'others' suddenly seem able to do the same thing while in his presence?
I'm not saying he is or is not a Con, he certainly is a 'Showman,' you can see it 'switch on' in him when he is asked a question or to perform.
I'm sceptical, but, if Jesus were to return, how would he be able to demonstrate himself so that people would believe him when he said who he was?
When 'illusionist' seemingly 'disappeared' the Statue of Liberty, how would a genuine individual be able to 'prove their self' to a world of TV practised sceptics?

He asks gullible tw*ts to believe it. And they do. There's a section of the spoon made from a metal with a melting point close too body temperature. You're right Geller is a fraud.

Before hand he puts minute, barely visible, little cuts in the weakest point of the spoon - ie the neck. Then he rubs it continuously, which warms up the neck and weakens it considerably more, until it eventually simply falls off or gently breaks off.
Its an old old trick.
*coughs* sorry, I mean "he does it using mind bullets"!! ;)

I like the way they always wheel him out as some kind of a 'specialist' on Big Brother! He's about as much good there as he is to doing magic!

By diverting your attention to something else so you don't actually see him bending the spoons which he does quite easily.

not witnessed in guy or woman, yet I did see him carry out on television some years in the past. of direction, something would be faked, particularly on television, in spite of the undeniable fact that it looked genuine and became an thrilling application. in spite of the undeniable fact that, Gellar did refuse to "carry out" under lab circumstances for Dr Rhine at Duke college. it is probable somewhat suspicious, a minimum of to me
