The world has always been full of good, kind and generous people, but to counteract that, there's always been plenty of @s$holes.
Have more friends who are nice.

People aren't brought up as they were during the 50's, 60's and 70's...Now if you spank your child for misbehaving then some jerk in some kind of organization is sitting over there to press charges against you. It sucks! I don't believe in using objects to hit children with like belts and stuff but a good pop on the fanny never killed anyone!

We are also living in an age where most people have so much to do...deadlines and such....gotta be somewhere at a certain time because if we can't be...someone else will...it's just so much going on and we seem to find very little time to just stop and take a deep breath and thank our maker for everything he has done for us and for all the wonderful people he has put in our lives.

It's a sad situation but each one of us individually can make a difference every day by forcing ourselves to smile at someone or do something kind for a stranger...you know, just get out of our comfort zone because actually, most people don't intend to be rude, they just don't realize others are paying attention.

Those sort of people have absolutely no respect for themselves so why would they have an ounce of respect for others, they go through life doing people down with their ignorance and rudeness yet are the first to complain when someone turns their back on them, maybe a form of etiquette should be taught in schools then they can go home and teach their parents some manners for a change because no one seems to be teaching people anything.

let me guess, u work in a restaurant too? why is it people be rude to people in one profession and be nice in others? there is such double standards, as if because you're in a lower paying job than, say, your accountant, that you are below people and therefore people believe they have a right to be rude to you? Just smile and get on with it and it'll confuse them!

They have forgotten what good etiquette is all about, or maybe they were never taught any.
My grandmother told me once, that you can be poor, but once you have manners, it will take you around the world. I never knew what she meant, but now that i am an adult i can see where she is coming from Simple words like please, and thank you doe's not exist in peoples vocabulary's,and i am not talking about kids, i am talking about ADULTS!! It seems that we live in a selfish world and it's everyman for himself.

Beacause they've analysed their current situation and compared it to their original goals or dreams. They feel they have failed and that it's too late to resuscitate their mission. They want to make themselves feel better as a consolation or they want someone else to blame, but frustration distorts their reactions and they find themselves feeling better when others feel worse. anyone?
