Yesterday, this happened, i tried to fastened the cable from monitor to pc and it worked. But, yesterday, suddenly there was an icon appear and disappear not long after that, just like you've download smthg. I used Lavasoft AdAware antispyware to check and clean the computer right away. This morning, the 1st time i on the PC, i still can hear "beep" but nothing appear on screen. So i off the power and try to on it again, but no "beep" sound (indicating the system is booting) after that. Nothing appears on my screen. Though, i can see the PC green light from floppy disk, then goes to my dvd drive that shows it seemed it's booting. Though, there's no beep sound and nothing appear on screen. I'm using my friend's pc now. Pls, anyone can help me? Thanks a lot.

Sounds like your monitor has died, not your PC. Unplug and re-plug all of the connections. If nothing happens get a new monitor. Used ones are cheap.

It's probably your hard drive, or where you Windows is located. Try inserting a Windows installer on your CD Drive and check if anything appears on the screen. If none, it's probably your monitor that has a problem.

Or you can ask the help of your local technician to fix your PC.
