Yesterday, this happened, i tried to fastened the cable from monitor to pc and it worked. But, yesterday, suddenly there was an icon appear and disappear not long after that, just like you've download smthg. I used Lavasoft AdAware antispyware to check and clean the computer right away. This morning, the 1st time i on the PC, i still can hear "beep" but nothing appear on screen. So i off the power and try to on it again, but no "beep" sound (indicating the system is booting) after that. Nothing appears on my screen. Though, i can see the PC green light from floppy disk, then goes to my dvd drive that shows it seemed it's booting. Though, there's no beep sound and nothing appear on screen. I'm using my friend's pc now. Pls, anyone can help me? Thanks a lot.

Sounds like a grafic card issue.. When u conected and recontected the monitor did u loosen the GC in any way? Might want to unplug and pull GC out then put back in and try power up... Is you computer getting real hot or is it very dirty, can cause GC to fail... Do u have a boot disk or Windows disk u can try, if that boots it with the monitoe showing picture then u will know its in windows...... But it has happen to me a million times and If i couldent get on all together i would pull the put back in and it would be right back... If I was able to get on the computer, I would go to system devices and check out if the GC is installed or if there is conflick with a onboard vga... Try that first... REMEMBER!!!! Dont ever go pluging and unpluging anything without power down and unplugged. If u have power and try to instal hardware it will fry it... Good luck!!

you need big help.

there should be a beep sound when you switch on your pc.

your pc bios could be corrupted or 1 or a few or your pc hardware has gone wrong.

else, it can be your windows problem.

time to look for a new pc sooner or later.

my old pc also had the same problem as yours and it took me long time to solve it.

if you wish, you can find a pc technician to help.

but no matter what, it is time to prepare look for a new pc.
