On average 6% of selling price. It all depends on what state also. A larger sale like over a million might be 4%. Check your local sales people they will tell you. You will need at least a $1000.00 to get started. School and state fees.

I believe they get a certain commission percentage if the house sells.

they start out around 25-30 thousand a year....but with experience they make more and more every year
