headphones definitely give you better sound quality because it can filter out noice a lot better. it doesnt look as good as when you're using earphones but if you're going for sound quality anyway, maybe looks dont matter to you.
not everyone can use earphones, too. some ears are just not physically configured for earphones. mine are not, they keep on slipping off. so i do a compromise: i use a headphone with slim bands.

would desire to be and cant relies upon on the quantity you have it at I try this rarely yet dont do what I did and function it loud because of the fact it could bypass I wakened and ears strengthen into ringing for some days dont have it over a million/2 way extremely in the event that they're in ear headphones

headphones are the really big ones and they can damage your hearing really bad so any earphones should be good
