What privacy?? They've just proved speed isn't the main cause of road accidents so do you think they'll remove the cameras from the big paying spots?? ... no chance, these spying money spinners are part of your life now mate. .. most of the street ones don't carry any film anyway so get the layabouts who man them out on the beat.

There is some evidence that they reduce some crimes in some areas (but not white collar crimes like fraud, deceptions, embezzlement etc.). You get the kind of society you deserve. We demand the Govt. does something abut crime and then we stay in and watch soaps (like BB) while feral kids rule the streets; so the Govt. responds to our demands by using cameras everywhere (like BB). If everyone stopped watching the telly and went for a walk every evening that would be a lot more effective, cheaper, healthier and less intrusive.

Depending on how one looks at it. In the name of security, images from them have helped solved some crimes quickly. They also act as good deterrents, preventing crimes from taking place.

Big brother is watching you. Next thing we will have them in our homes. It is a huge invasion of our privacy which we seem to have less and less of.
