No-one should be subjected to the terror of war. Deaths are never worth it. The only thing worth anything is life.
And this is a completely illegal war, based on completely falacial propaganda.
There is no link between 9/11, terrorism and Iraq, and there were no WMD's.
It is obviously just a game to a few people with deranged minds.

First I'm not sure I believe that figure. Saddam killed thousands and thousands every year. How about the Athletes that were tortured for losing soccer or Olympic games? How about the thousands of people tortured every year by the Bathist party? How about the children they tortured to get their parents to talk. how long do we sit by and watch until we decide to help? How many people were killed and raped in Kuwait when Saddam invaded? How many died in his seven year war with Iran? Do you value all human life or just the ones that interest you?
To Helga- you say we teach our children not to fight, but every year more and more kids kill other kids. More children are in Juvenile facilities and prisons for violent crime than ever in history. Some kids and adults are not interested in the right way, and sometimes not being willing to fight back just makes them an easy victim. The only stupider than not knowing how to fight is not knowing when to fight. I will always take the peaceful way if possible, but I will always be illing to fight to protect my family, my friends, my neighbors and my country.

War is never the answer. This day & age, humanity should have evolved enough to settle conflicts peacably. We don't let our kids go & beat each other up ... we teach them how to compromise and work things out in a peaceful way. I think we should take Bush & Rummy back to the sandbox so they can learn/relearn this important lesson - what's with this: we'll hunt 'em down & kill 'em? Neanderthals!!!

We are not killing the citizen.Yes it is worth it.What is the value of a Germany and Japan that are our friend compared to them wanting to destroy us.The death toll is often great but as far as I am concerned as long as any of them support the Islamic Jihad then better them dead than us dead. That is what it comes down to.This is an age when if you wait for our enemy to attack us we may not get to defend ourselves.
These people want us dead it is real and they are not going away.

Yes- the cost of war is worth it!
I am in the US Navy, and i am proud to have to served, completing missions overseas. If you were ever there and seen their way of life, living conditions and what they have to deal with- there's no comparsion. Our country has many liberties and opportunities that others don't- and that is why we fight to maintain the peace and protect what we established.

What is the price that you are willing to pay for freedom and security?

Would you wish to live as a Islamist? or worse a Communist, fascist, Socialist?

Now take a moment and think of all the people who died in past wars to keep you free. Did they die in vain?
