"magic hat game"... similar to pass the parcel without all that wrapping up! The kids pass the hat, whoever has the hat when the music stops, gets a sweet mysteriously appear in the hat.
Call me FREE on 0800 612 0089 and I'll tell you the routine for palming the sweet in the hat.

"Who let the dogs out" - the kids are at one end of the room on their hands and knees, wagging their tales and barking to the music. On the floor are bits of paper (I actually use plastic bones) and when the music stops they crawl forward and get a piece of paper and hold it in the air. Take a piece away each time, like musical chairs.

"Corners". Get a pack of cards. All the kids are in the middle. Designate each corner to a suit of the cards... diamonds, clubs, spades, hearts. When the music stops the kids pick a corner and sit down. You select at randon a card from the pack, and whichever suit the card is, that corner is "out", so if for example hearts are chosen, all the kids in the hearts corner are out.

Tip: Wheneever a child is "out of a game" it discourages them from cheating and rejoining in if, when the kid is out, you get them to shout "Oh No! I'm Out!" It establishes to everyone they are out, they admit it in a funny way, and it saves arguements.

Dopey duelling.. get some modelling balloons, and pump them nearly all the way up, and make some swords. Pair the kids up and they have a duel.. two touches on the opponent and they go through to the next round. Great for Pirate themed parties.

"Balloon Ball" get the kids into two teams. In each team is a "goal keeper" who sits on a chair (and mustn't stand up or leave the chair), one at each end. The rest of the team (using an open hand only) have to pat the balloon into the arms of their own goalkeeper. This can be a bit boisterous, so don't use it for under six year olds, or a widely ranged/mixed age group.

Depends on how old they are.
Best piece of advice is have more games than you think you will need in case one goes bust or they go quicker than you think they will! *L* Bored kids are a nightmare!

You could have a basket and two teams. Just simply doing silly things like 2 forward rolls....and a jump and race to put a rolled up sock into a basket. First team to fill up with all their socks wins!

Freeze tag.. Duck Duck Goose... Running to a chair with a balloon and sitting on it to pop it. (Small kids don't like this though!) You imagination is the limit! Do a treasure hunt with things that you have hidden before hand.

Best of luck and have fun!
