For lots of things.
Copper is used in cables - copper conductors.
Copper is used in water systems - copper pipes.
Copper may be used as an alloy in the manufacture of other metals.
Copper sheeting may be used in buildings for roofing.
Traces of copper may be found in tables - for vitamins and mineral.
Any many more uses.

Copper main properties are as follows:
- it resists corrosion well. When exposed to oxygen, the copper oxyde that will form -- a rather though greenish layer -- will stick to the surface of the copper and protect it (that is why copper roofing and statues made of copper will be greenish after a few years of exposure.
- it conducts heat and electricity very well (second only to silver among pure metals)
- it is ductile and easily formed
- it alloys well with other metals
From those properties, one can derive where the metal would be useful. Cookware (heat conduction), wiring and electronics (electrical conduction), piping (ductility), roofing (corrosion resistance), and so on.

Copper has very good conductivity next to only Gold and Silver, so it is largely used in wire.
It is good conductor of heat, so u see many big hotels hav copper vessel for cooking.
Then it can be used as any other metal anywhere so long as cost is not of concern.
