Hardware is the stuff that goes to make-up your computer, such as, your Monitor, Tower cabinet, Printer, Keyboard ..etc..
Software on the other hand is the stuff that makes your Computer work, such as, Program applications like Windows XP disc, Microsoft Words, basically anything that requires a CD/Floppy disc and is dowloadable on to your PC's Hardrive

Hardware is best described as a device that is physically connected to your computer or something that can be physically touched. A CD-ROM, Monitor, Printer, and video card are all examples of computer hardware. Without any hardware your computer would not exist and software would have nothing to run on.

Software is a collection of instructions (a program) that enables a user to interact with the computer or have the computer perform specific tasks for them. Without any type of software the computer would be useless. For example, you wouldn't be able to interact with the computer without a software Operating System. Almost all software purchased at a retail store is included in a box. This box usually contains all the disks (floppy diskette, CD, and/or DVD) required to install a program onto the computer, manuals, warranty, and other important documentation.

The motherboard, also known as the mb, mainboard, mobo, backplane board, planar board, or system board. The Motherboard is a printed circuit board that is the foundation of a computer and allows the CPU, RAM, and all other computer hardware components to function with each other.

Harware is physical stuff. Chips, boards, hard drives, connectors,... The items that make up the innards of the computer are hardware. They all also weigh something. Hardware doesn't change (although you can add and remove some of it).

Software is the collection of programs that you run on the hardware. This includes the operating system (Linux, Windows, Mac OS, etc) any programs you work with like your word processor or picture editors. Software is easily added or removed from your computer and is generally stored in the hard drive or CDs.

Data is what the software manipulates. Pictures, word processor documents, email are all forms of data.

The motherboard is the big flat board on the bottom of the computer that other boards plug into. Some computers have only the motherboard, but in this case you'll often see a few connectors lined up inside that other boards ould be plugged into. Modern computers often don't need any extra boards, but extras like cable TV boards would plug into these connectors.

Hardware's the separate components of a computer system, from the hard drive (which stores data), to the monitor. Software's what you run on the computer, from Windows to games. The motherboard is an electronic circuit board which everything in your computer is connected to in some way. If the motherboard has messed up, replacing it may mean you need to replace other parts too, such as the memory.

Hardware means things like your mouse, monitor, keyboard - ie the physical things you can touch.

Software means the programs which run on the hardware, such as MS Windows, MS Word, Internet Explorer and media player/iTunes.

A motherboard is a large circuit board inside your computer's case which all your other hardware components are plugged into. Your computer cannot function without a motherboard.

Hardware = the physical components eg PC tower, disc drives, cd rom drives, monitor, printer, etc and no you can't download hardware.

Software = any programs, including the OS that you run on the computer.

Motherboard = the main circuit board inside the PC tower. If you didn't know what it was in the first place, don't open up the system and fiddle as you can do irreparable damage.

Hardware is an actual part on your computer like your cd rom. Software is internal information stored on your computer which it needs to communicate to it's parts. The motherboard is the main part which links hardware and software together.

Hard ware is physical stuff eg VDU, Mouse, Key board.
Software is Data and programmes (or applications)
The motherboard's main job is to hold the computer's microprocessor chip and let everything else connect to it. Everything that runs the computer or enhances its performance is either part of the motherboard or plugs into it via a slot or port.
