No. I think that the idea of what we consider to be a "slave" is something we consider to be like a tool. We use it when needed and have a sense of posession towards it. That being said, my opinion about science and it's classification as being a "slave " to man would be that it is not so much a slave, but an idea. Science gives man a direction on how to figure out the natural and unnatural universe. We cannot own it, but rather work within its dimensions to obtain what we need. I know this answer is pretty scattered/vague, but my mind doesn't work so great on less than 1 cup of coffee.

No, science does not 'do' anything. It is a way of thinking and development. It is still the human brain that has to do the work.

If anything it is the other way around.
