I forgot to mention if its possible to sharpen the images with this software.

Providing you best, less time consuming and secure way to accomplished desired task, hope you like it:

Your question needs two set of operations describing one by one -

A. To Enlarge / Resize Jpg image:

1. Download Image resizer from toolset of microsoft power toys, Install it and simply use this software in windows explorer right click menu (Option appear here) >> Then resize ..

Downlaod Software from here:

2. Use Irfanview image viewer software

Downlaod from here:

http://www.irfanview.com/

Install Software (Very Excellent free software for daily image tasks like resizing / retouching .. many more)

Goto Irfanview >> Image >> Resize/ Resample

B. To display images as Screensaver

In windows XP

Put any images into any folder >> right click on desktop >> Click Properties >> Click Screensaver >> Select My picture slideshow form drop down choose menu >> goto settings >> tweak options here and browse for folder you wanna show as screensaver >> Bingo you done....now evry time your screensaver starts it displays images from the folder .. whether it is small or large...autofits.

Hi,
You can import any JPEG image to your desktop. Just click on
control panel, then desktop, followed by screensaver.

Screensaver gives you the option to import your photo and to use it as a screensaver.
My wife uses a photo of me as a screensaver to scare off vampires.

I don't know of any specific for that purpose but I would guess that most packages could do that sort of trick.

You may even have a package which can do it. Converting into gif format may help as I find jpegs go all blurry when you resize them.

Kodak has soft ware for that , LG has products as well , HP has many Picture type programs that I use to make posters all the way to flyer's to doing what you want to do ...Check it out
