I think anyone who is married has the right to go out with their friends.... ya know, the 'girls' night out.... the 'guys' night out..... but not EVERY weekend.

Without their spouse, I assume! If so, this marriage has serious committment and/or respect issues. Sounds like some serious communications about the definition of married life are in order! Sometimes two people have different definitions of a relationship but are unaware of this until after the relationship has begun, making it much more difficult to change the pattern that has already started.
Honest, open talk, with a counselor or pastor, if necessary, or between husband and wife alone, if possible, are needed ASAP!
Hope this helps.

I have been with my boyfrined for over 4 years. He's bartender and HATES to hang out in bars. He doesn't have a problem with me going out with my girlfriends or my guy friends ( as long as he knows them and i frineds with them too) as long as it;s on a once in a while basis. My guy doesn't drink that much and is a bit anti-social. He is always worrid that I think he;s a stick in the mud and I worry that he feels abandoned. But we love each other very much--and staying out until 3:30am or later is fine--Once in a while-and If you call him and let him know that you are ok. If this is something that happens frequently-I would say that there is something to worry about---OR at least talk about with her/him. Something is missing if you're the one who's not out with him, if this sort of thing happens on a regular basis. I would always prefer to have my fella with me---But if he doesn't want to come that's ok. If he doesn't want to come ALL of the time---I would be worried. Confront him now.

once and a while I think is ok, if the spouse is ok with it...every weekend, NO.....I don't think one needs "permission" but I think out of mutual respect, the spouse should be considered before doing that. If my husband went out till 3:30am all the time, I'd be pretty pissed off...cause' I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that to him.

You didn't tell us: are you going out with your friends or with your husband? If you go out with your friends and your husband doesn't have any problem, enjoy it!!! Life doesn't end after marriage!!! Neither you are enslaved in the cave of marriage!!! ALL DEPENDS ON COMMUNICATION BETWEEN YOU AND HIM and if he agrees to have fun until 3:30. I would like to know more details, so IM or e-mail whenever you like to talk about it.

If the person's partner allows it, than it's not anyone else's business.
If it's your partner or spouse and you don't like this behavior than you already know the answer.

only if the other half is OK with it. its their marriage,
I wouldn't feel right about it, I love my husband and want him to be with me. if he choose not to go , I might once go without him. But I wouldn't make it a habit. nor would I believe he would go without me.Not many couples would be OK with it and find it proper.
