Indians would have fought and defeated the British. But the major difference would have been in the quality of political leaders which we have today:
1. There would have been no Gandhi (Nehru ) dynasty, which has brought all the corruption to Indian politics and minds.
2. There would be no concept of Chamchagiri whose foundations lay in Gandhism
3. Because leaders would have sacrificed their lives for the nation, they would not take nation for granted.
4. There would have been no Pakistan.
5. Subhash Chandra Bose would have been our Prime Minister.
6. Nation would have been of much more strong character.
I can actually write a book on this topic.

Mahatma Gandhi is God's gift that Indian could ever receive.
we still appreciate what he did for South Africa apartheid all south Africans knew what Freedom struggle is including their Father of nation the ex president
But For Gandhi our nation would have been still ruled by British gun power may be applauded by Powerful Nations.
The British were thrown by Gandhi's words and his writings. Gandhi if desired must have told British not to separate Pakistan , This was Gandhi's greatest wish.
But for Lord Mount batten's personal decision No Pakistan would have been formed LOL.
May be president Musharaf would have been India's Chief of Army.

Pro-british lobby of indian politics couldnt dominate.Subhas Chandra Bose, the greatest hero ever born ,would make congress a truely nationalist party of highest standard[compared to its miserable standard],which could lead our country to the zenith of prosperity.Vested interest couldnt grab the supreme power in india.India could be a developed country long ago.Communal harmony maintained.Crores of indian need not become refugee.Criminalization of politics didnt occur.

In my opinion Mahatma Gandhi was the greatest gift that India could've recieved He achieved in one lifetime what the Irish failed to do in 800 years.Gandhi was greatly influenced by Jesus although he never converted to christanity. The British were too strong and violent means would never work. Many people don't realize that being non -violent Gandhi was very brave and also very smart. He had bad luck though because his great nemesis was Mohammed Ali Jinnah who was an unconscienable man.If Jinnah had died 6 months earlier or had it been known that he was suffering from cancer, Pakistan would never have been formed. This was Gandhi's greatest wish.

Today's India would be different and great, because we would have taken freedom by right and there could not be a problem of terrorism, which we are facing today. There is no difference, as past independence we are fear of british and today we are having fear of terrorist.
