The standard medications for Parkinson's Disease are Sinemet and Eldepryl. These just ease the symptoms; they may perform brain surgery for very advanced cases. Michael J Fox had it done, but he was pretty young. There really isn't a whole lot you can do. It is a degenerative disease with no cure.

Mucuna (Mucuna prurita); Wood Sorrel, Damiana, Skullcap, Taheebo, Corydalis, St. John's Wort.

A lack of dopamine seems to be associated with the disease. Mucuna is reported to have been very helpful and it does contain L-dopa a precursor of dopamine. Banana and Beans also contain dopa (There is even Dopamine and Serotonin in Banana but, unfortunately, both neuro-transmitters can only be produced in the brain. The blood-brain barrier will not allow the chemical in from the outside.) L-dopa is also manufactured in the brain from the amino-acid Tyrosine. However, doctors can prescribe more concentrated dopa and still are not able to cure the disease with dopa alone. Other, newer treatments seem more promising.
Wood Sorrel is also recommended in a dosage of 5 drops every hour.
The recommendation of Damiana stems from "Today's Herbal Health" by Louise Tenney.
Corydalis contains an alkaloid that works on the nervous system and is used as an ingredient in formulas designed for Parkinson's.
There is educated speculation (Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton NY) that people with reduced MAO have also a reduced risk of developing Parkinson's. When MAO is reduced, Dopamine levels increase. Thus, St. John's Wort, known to inhibit MAO, might be an effective preventative treatment for Parkinson's.
Another way to increase Dopamine levels and, at the same time, protect and even restore important brain functions is to take Acetyl-L-Carnitine supplements. In Europe doctors recommend Deprenyl (Selegiline) as a MAO inhibitor.

Hello - Any illness can be cured or improved through the process of 'allowing' the body/mind to gain greater access to the life force that is the foundation and source of all life. ... All illness, in whatever form is a result of one thing, and that is "separation from The Force". .......... There are a number of healing modalities available today which work to help free up the body/minds system and thus support it in gradually "unraveling" or undoing the blockages which gave root to the manifestation of the particular illness which a body is suffering.

One modality which I have seen work very well, yet very gradually over time when one is recieving the treatments on a regular basis,... (which initially would probably be 3 or 4 times per week,.. and then less often as the healing process unfolds and progresses),.... is a system called; 'NETWORK CARE'. ..... Here is a web site that will give you some information:

In the ayurvedic hospitals and pharmacies they can check you, and take it from diet to daily massage to natural medinine!! Go to an ayurvedic hospital!!!// Massage is very good and over in the south of india there they have a lot of oils, daily massage!! There are also courses to learn massage. Both options are at a fraction of the cost in the west..

A friend of mine with Parkinson likes coenzime Q 10 the best as supplement, also avena sativa extract. You can get a good massage oil with all trace elements and get it like that as well!!

Chi machine would be good since he probably does not get that much exercise.. Chi movement will help..

So recap healthy diet, check out ayurveda!!!, if necessary supplement with minerals, get a good massage oil or just any old one and go for daily massages!!

Love

You can't cure someone of parkinsons once they have it, you can only control the symptoms.
