in my task manager: the crss.exe, cpu usage history graph, page file usage history graph, etc. goes wild (erratic shift of percentage use...the graph goes up & down rapidly) This manifestation is seen in the desktop icons & address bars, etc... very unstable. What is the remedy of this problem?

right click my computer and then click properties on the shortcut menu
on the advanced option click on performance a new dialog box appear untick the check box
use visual styles on windows button.
it help to reduce the blinking

Start in safe mode. (Press F8 on startup) If the problem goes away I would be doing virus and adware/scumware scans

try changing refresh rate to 65 or 70... use default theme(with out any modifications like icon packager,docks etc.,.)

try scanning for virus normalls adwares/spywares wont do that kinda wierd stuffs....

hope it gets solved... or else try restoring your pc to a diff restore date.. prob when this problem was not there...


OR RE-INSTALL OS( A COWARDS WAY)
