Why do I always start to act like the person I am with? If I am with that kind of person I am kind of acting differently when I am with different person I am trying to act more like him or her. With every person I try to act like them. How do I always stay the same no matter who I am with? Is it because I have weak character or personality or something or could it be low self esteem and lack of confidence. Do you guys ever do that try to act more like the person your with? How can I change this?

H'mm....Well, I admit that I act on a different level with different people. Let's say I've got a really insecure person to talk to. I'd find myself feeling like a protector from bullies. If I have a hard guy who's suspicious of all my motivations I keep my distance. If he's madly in love, I play tricks on his fancy.

I'd say that I'm pretty funny,in a subtle way; not as outgoing as others. But I find that I can only be funny if my partner can pick it up and take part in it. I can't be the lone comedian who has a hard time getting the audience to laugh.

Its called "Mirroring" and what it is is a subconcious desire to be accepted by our social groups. All animals do it, you seldom see crows fly with robins right? Same thinking.

You DON'T change it- what you do is learn how to control it, then learn how to sell cars or real estate and make some good money
