There is none, the pulse is simply a measure of heart rate taken as a convenient location near the surface.

The heartbeat (or heartrate) can be located over the heart, and the pulse is normally taken at the radius (wrist), but can be found in the neck, behind the knees, the bend of the arm, and on top of the feet. True, a person's heartrate and pulse rate should be the same, but may differ slightly in people who have various diseases of the arteries, meaning that the blood does not circulate through the body at the same "rate" that the heart beats.

ur heart beat is the blood pumping in ur heart, ur pulse is the blood pumping around ur vains

paramedics and doctors check for a pulse rather than a heart beat because when ur heart stops working, theres still a trace of a beat in it until ur braindead, so they check for a pulse to see is there still oxegen and blood actually moving around your body, if so, ur still alive.

Heartbeat is just the process of pumping blood.

Pulse is the heartbeat in one second. That means how many times your heart pumps blood in one second

IF you are talking about the actual THUMP THUMP noise, that is actually the sound of blood pushing back and closing the valves of the heart.
