i'm guessing you are student ....art? designer?

and you given the words MIXED and ECONOMY for a project.

mixed economy or a mixture of two different economies (attempting to get the best from both) e.g. socialism and capitalism.

the traditional colour of socialism is red.

the navy blue colour symbolises the FOUNDATIONS of capitalism.

symbols of socialism are the colour red but perhaps more so the red flag

symbols of capitalism are the $ sign and wall street. the world trade buildings used to symbolise capitalism.

you should get more views on mixed economy by browsing the net.

none related trivia: i love anagrams so i MIXED the letters of ECONOMY and i found the word MONOECY, talking about mix ups. look that word up it will give you a completely different view on mixed economy

just thought of something how about the an navy blue dollar sign on a red flag. that would stir up a hornet nest

Mixed economy is like the racially mixed up british people.
how anyone can claim to be pure English/Scottish/Irish/Welsh or for that matter anything else along these lines is totally beyond my ken.
Suggest that you use a thesaurus - substitute varied for mixed, and you see that it is just a politicians made up description to hide the fact he doesnt know what the H... he was talking about.
Looked at another way all economies are mixed I cannot think of anywhere on this planet (country) that doesnt grow some of its own food even if this is minimal so all national economies can be termeed mixed even tho the only sources of income are agriculture and tourism.

Just about everything sold in any retail outlets...some parts made here, some somewhere else, packaged somewhere else again...have a look next time you in supermarket...even a caryard....colors...i am an artist so I think of all colors...but as an afterthought......red.....I think we should be able to produce and package and sustain our own countries without going offshore...our unemployment goes up while offshore comes down...yep....I see red....
