I think the wii is good for the £179 asking price and the ps3 it looks good but the price hoow too much the xbox 360 is old fashioned to these latest consoles.

I still think the 360 will stand its own as it drops its price. The ps3 will no doubt corner the market eventually - it will undoubtably have the most games made for it - but the starting price is just ridiculous, so I honestly don't see the ps3 taking off properly until 2008...even if it has an early release next year.

For the immediate gamer - the 360 hands down. For the rich kid - the ps3....and for anyone else who just wants a good quality gaming experience for a reasonable price the Wii.

One has to ask why the Wii is so much cheaper than the PS3 - are Nintendo doing an Atari by chopping their hands off just to get the consoles out there? Is the PS3 actually a more accurate price for the hardware that will keep the company afloat? Based on previous marketing performance, the smart money is still on the Sony product.

XBox 360 will be pretty worthless in a year or two, just like the XBox is now.

What are you talking about, Wii is cheap, and will be useless, PS3 is going to cost you near enough a thosand pound, Xbox 360, does everything the PS3 does except Blu ray, the games are better, will be cheaper and has an online worth play, And the price is under half of the Ps3

I think that a lot of people (including myself) will go for a 360 and a Wii, I've already had a 360 for a while and I'll probably be buying a Wii to get something different out of my games. The price of the PS3 is a bit prohibative for the timebeing (especially for me, being a student witohut a part-time job).

wii is the future of gaming, but graphics is bad. ps3 is top in terms of technology, with blu ray ,they can have games out of this world in terms of graphics, size and gameplay. wii is ideally for kids and the games are tailored to them with bright colours...

xbox360 is still new with the hd-dvd attachment and future "motion pad" on the way. only the ps3 and 360 meet the new standards through high definition tv.
the disadavntage if the ps3 is price, but many fans out there will pay for it.

also ps3 has the biggest catalogue of game titles, followed by 360, then wii.

Even though I currently have a PS2, I'm waiting for the wii. The back catalogue of all Nintendo games, coupled with the amazing controller and the linkup with DS makes it a far more interesting choice.

personally the 360 is made for people who like shooters, the PS3 for Japanese game type players and Nintendo for the mini games and just buying it because of the controller.
