The Monitors don't seem to be picking up any signal. Using 2 analog cables with DVI adaptors to hook up to card. Monitors definitely work and Card has power to is.

Any idea why there is no signal. Do i need to go buy 2 DVI cables?

Just like to point out that i the monitors don't work from the second the pc is turned on. Therefore i can't change any settings etc on the BIOS or in windows as its a completely new built PC with windows not yet installed

Sounds like either two things...first check the connections on the card to make sure everything is plugged in correctly and nothing is broken. If all of that looks good take the card out and plug it back in.

Turn it on see what happens.

If it still does not work I could possibly mean that the power supply you are running can not power the graphics card you are using. If you are using a generic power supply you will have problems running high powered cards.

there is a check box inside the settings window where you can configure the screen resolution so that you can enable windows extending the desktop onto the monitor.

Right click the desktop, go to properties, click the settings tab. and then you should see 2 pics of monitors there, click the second one, and look at the bottom of the window, there should be a check box there.

If you cant see any signal with the first monitor, that is weird, I dont think it has anything to do with being a certain type of cable, maybe check to see if the VGA/DVI is faulty, try another one?

if you havent formatted the pc yet, you need to only hook up on monitor first, because you need the drivers to support multiple displays
