Absolutely not. Why should she have special protection? Monarchy is an out of date facist institution that should end when old Betty's life does. Of course, there is no God, so the question is moot, but still.

In case you are wondering, I can't stand the Queen. Why not? She is a poodle; a puppet; a past prodigy of a forgotten age.
She has no place in the modern regime. Like John Prescott, she survives because she has no authority. What is she doing here? And more to the point why do we, the people, tolerate her?
If she were truly harmless, we would not be wasting taxes on her and her cronies. She is as benign as the Trident warheads. Are there not better things we could be spending our public money on.... like the NHS?? Or the drains?

The royals are no longer needed by Britain, we don't have an Empire anymore and most of our national decisions are made without the royal family. We should turn Buckingham palace, Windosr Castle and Balmoral Castle into hotels and we should eject the royals from Britain. Sooner or later, the British will unite under one banner and riot on the streets of all of Britain's major cities. The royals are of no economic value for the country.
