i wrote a letter to my local congressman recently stating that i believe that the year has too many months and that we should get rid of two of them i think this is reasonable and achievable, but, when i tell people this idea they think that i am joking and when they realise that i am serious they tell me that i must be completely insane.
I think i am being reasonable do you agree with me or not, also what do you think my congressman will say when he sends my letter a reply? do you think he will introduce the ide to parliament or not?

darlene m, i think that the two months could be negotiated, by the people, the public could vote on their two least faviroute months and then we can progress or we could take the default route and just take off nov/december and run the year from jan to oct

Yea it have too many months if it have less months then we will celebrate Diwali quite frequently.

I'm curious to what Two months you want removed, and I really want to hear the reply from the congressman when /if they reply to your request. Just curious...why would you want a shorter calendar year...I don't seem to have enough hours in the day to finish the tasks at hand as it is. Good Luck with your proposal anyway.

Dude,,,,chill. Theres 365 days a year, each broken down into roughly 30 days each for a reason- they're easily divisable for easy math. 12 has more easily divisble numbers than base 10 does, thats why.

What difference does it make how many months there are? The amount of time in a year will still be the same.

i thikn we have to many days in a weekday. we need to have more saturdays and sundays..
