Yes, a cusp of something means the edge of that thing, or approaching a margin or border.

And yes, you are on the cusp of a sign, and cannot BE a cusp, as has been pointed out.

As for which sign you are in, you need to check the planetary positions for your birthday in the year you were born. The dates given for the horoscopes in the media are just estimations.

Each year, the Sun enters each sign at a slightly different time around those dates we are given. This is why you need to check your YOB (as well as Time Of Birth and Place Of Birth) for an accurate Natal Chart.

A Cusp may mean a number of things. Usually when people talk about the cusp it is about being "on the cusp of something". At a moment just before something happens.

A cusp is also an edge or a border of something. The common theme here is the border where one thing becomes another.

So, you may be on the cusp of something -- Adulthood, perhaps -- But you are not A cusp.

It's as real as the borders between cities or nations. All are arbitrary lines of separation between two things. In astrology, I have Sun, Moon, Venus and Jupiter in conjunction on the cusp of Cancer and Leo. In Texas, I wasn't certain if I was in Bellair or Houston once. Unless I watch the signs, I don't know when I pass from San Francisco into Daly City. I can tell when I go from the USA into Canada, for there are customs offices.

No a cusp is not a real thing but a myth ( even Linda Goodman agrees)
Each person has 2 signs,
One in which ur moon is called moon sign and
the other is ur zodiac or sun sign. when u were born then whichever zodiac ur moon and sun were in determine these signs. The horoscopes most people follow are zodiac/sun sign.
It is not possible for the sun to be in two zodiac at any instance of time hence only one zodiac. From ur date of birth ur zodiac or sun sign is libra and as for ur moon sign that can be determined from ur horoscope only. I belong to a country where my caste is considered to be of ppl expert in this field so trust me.
As for the myth of cusp, it is usually supported when a person of a particular sign behaves in a manner which is like of another zodiac, this happens becoz their moon sign may be different from their sun sign and is more dominant.
Though normally a person's behavior largely depends on sun sign. So u read more about libra now.
