There aren't many I can think of. I thought of all the books written by men that I've read (less than 20 full-length novels, sorry), and I realize they have come off as fake.
All I can think of right now is Eponine from Les Miserables.

i like the first answer, but im my opinion, Julia Roberts in pretty woman, i is way to convincing and makes me so angry. it projects the image that its OK to be a prostitute, and that your knight in shining Armour will sweep you off your feet. and that your in a fairy tale, and you will happily ever after. What is really sad is that one purpose of the Bible was to put women in a subordinate role, yet many women go along with the ridiculous fictions in the Bible.
