I'm a garden nut. I have a large herbaceous border. I love penstemon, salvia, species geranium, iris, gaillardia, sedum, lysimachia, helleborus, potentilla, geum, abutilon, and many others. I have a good sized native area, too. Grevilleas are a favourite but many others also. I've got a nice sized vegie garden and a small orchard. We are fortunate in that we have a permanent creek bordering the property so water is not a big problem although I am always improving the soil and keep it well mulched. My daughter is getting married in the garden in a couple of months and I've been very busy getting it ready.

We have palms of all heights, coconut trees, and colourful shrubs dotted throughout.
There are two birdbaths, and a terracotta possum with hangs from one of the jarrah poles supporting the shade sails over the pool. There is a metal arch on which a Jasmine is growing, and I have seen a couple of bird nests in the branches of the shrubs.
A terracotta gorilla also sits in the garden across from the pool and there are numerous potted plants. Dracaena's, Cycas, Bamboo, Palms, Ivy, Dumb cane, Ginger etc etc ... All too much work really, but it has paid off. It's a nice place to come home to after work.

I have a very interesting weed growing behind my tomato plants. It seems as if they are hiding. Every once in awhile I will go back there to get a nice beef steak, and for some reason I get stuck.Do you think it is the sticky substance that is all over this weedy looking plant?.Oh ,and I have this questionable cacti in my garden also.....;-)

I don't have a garden, but I do have two pepper trees. I don't know what kind they are, though. Someone told me it was Bouquet Peppers and said the color will change. We have one little pepper that is orange and the rest are purple. It is so weird. Back in the summer, it didn't hardly do anything, but come fall of the year, it's full of peppers and is still blooming. WOW!

We have a patio area, some roses and bushes, the front area is tiled, we have a peach tree and an almond tree, we used to have grape vines but they died, and some herbs, it's not a huge garden. Each year we get loads of peaches off the tree and we share them with family, friends and neighbours who are always delighted to recieve them.
