There is a father of two children in my school who gets nervous whenever he talks to me. I can feel this tension as his lips and chin trembles obviously when he talks. Sometimes he would rush his words through to finish the conversation quickly. We have cordial working relationship and he has a wonderful wife. I can't figure out why there is this feeling going on whenever we communicate. Could it possibly be that he has a crush on me?

If he is only nervous with you. Then yes he is nervous because he likes you and he shouldn't

It sounds like he may have a bit of a crush on you, but he could also be shy about talking to women or people in general. I would check into this first before assuming anything. Then you should keep in mind that he's married, so don't entice him or lead him on. Don't even entertain the idea of making him chase you! Just keep it professional and friendly - eventually it will wear off. It may take months or years, but be cool about it.

Deborah... there are men out there who may feel uneasy about talking to another women , without there wife being there, just for the reason that to many tI'mes rumors start up by people looking for excitement in there lives, im sure if he was there with his wife he would be comfortable about it. He might just not want the wrong impression to be given in that situation.

He may be nervous around woman in general. He may find you attractive (which is different than a crush) I used to intimidated by good looking woman but did not want a romantic relationship.

I'm betting it has nothing to do with you. I think it's more likely that he is either a dork, or his wife is an extremely jealous woman and he doesn't want to give her any reason to suspect something is going on outside their relationship.

it could be a number of things, he may be insecure, maybe he does have a crush on you, maybe he just doesn't do to well with authority figures or maybe he has a bad past with one of his teachers...so many to choose from here.

yes, I think he is right :-D ....but it hard to conclude, only you can do it, you would know it if anyone find you attractive to them, they will act differently, some men act like they feel nothing about you, some men over react, and some trying to hide or avoid seeing you...it's depend on their nature and circumstances...*The answer that you need it's not what is he really feel about you, but it's what you really feel about him :-D....
