Depends on plumbing and water treatment. Well water has a smell of eggs or a more odorious smell then city water depending on city and state regulations.

Technically, water has no aroma. The smell of it would be dependant on the different chemicals in it, as well as the ratio of chemicals .

depending were it is how long its been sitting
fresh mountain spring water is the best,,no chlorine,or algal ,dirtysmell or taste just fresh thirst quenching,,sweet.water.,../,.Goochys runs of big glass of water.
with no real taste just thirst quenching cause its pure)

in lab...it is scl2 smell
and
in canteen i think its ammonia smell..
and
in ignite..it is alcohol smell...
