I wonder what kind of wedding DJ plays Jives. Do you mean you want to do a show/presentation? In any case, here's my professional advice.
First of all, it's impossible to give instruction through the internet. The best thing that you can do through the internet is go here (instructions and music): http://www.ballroomdancers.com/Dances/dance_overview.asp?Dance=JIV
Jive is a particularly tricky dance that requires very fast feet and good technique. You need some time to be able to present a good Jive. Your best bet is to find a good dance studio and get some lessons. You have time, you can learn how to do a good Jive by December if you practice a lot with your partner and by yourself.
You don't state your previous dance experience, so I can't estimate how good you will be or how long it will take you or how much you'll pay for coaches. In ANY case, whether you're beginners or Pros, you need coaching. You can't learn how to dance without a teacher.
I wish you the very best. Remember to practice!

Ellie provided you the best website I know. I don't know why is she discouraging you from learning jive. As long as you are not the one getting married (or - how is the bride supposed to dance it in her long dress?)

The same website http://www.ballroomdancers.com has list of dance studios by ZIP code. You might want to go to classes - this is most efficient way, and you do still have time till December.
