There are three ways to find the PNR [Passenger Name Record] status
1). Dial 1330 or 1345 from local phone in Delhi & follow the IVR
2). Log on to http://indianrail.gov.in/pnr_stat.html & feed in the PNR there
3). Drop in to any of the railway reservation counters, visit the enquiry counter & flash your ticket.

Well, if you know the PNR # and the date... all you have to do is... log onto the website indianrailways ka...and refer it there with the help of date & PNR. You will know all the details abt confirmation or any other status...... simple!!!
