It depends on how you define success. Gautam Buddha was the man. He was a prince with all the riches. He discarded the materialism around him and became one of the strongest spiritual leaders of our times.

One person I know is Marc Anthony ,and I know of others who over came adersity"s and still climbed up the ladder to succeed .
And where I now live We have some rapper or reggeton singer Who over came hugh obsticles and if very well known.
