The wire is a great show and is so real. How do u like the show who is yur fave character etc. Also did you see the soft eyes episode when Marlo asked if Michael was to good for his money. Did u see how he stared through Marlo? That kid is great. Also dosen't your heart hurt for Dookie? I love this show....

I love the show. Every season since the first has been great, each for its own reason. The show does a good job of capturing the feel and landscape of Baltimore (even if the show itself is about a much broader subject, and not indicative of Baltimore as a whole.) Everything from the setup to the execution of the plot is well thought out, realistic, and not over dramatized. The sheer energy of the characters makes it real. Just as you mention with the scene between Marlo and Michael. Marlo is all up in Michael's face until Michael looks him in the eye, and Marlo realizes that the kid is fearless. Every season is full of scenes like this.
I suggest trying to check out the other seasons if you haven't already. Every character is real, identifiable, and definitely thought provoking.

i love the show since season 1, most ppl say season 2 was the worst, but as an african american, i'm sick of the black drug dealer storyline, i really enjoy learning about how "other" ppl lived or did their crime, and i wish other than the security guard dating jimmy, the would of solved the case or bring itback up this season or next.
