feel sad, he was very Popular but strang fellow. He was very strong advocate for animals in his native country, nad his passing is truly a loss to Australia. He now has his Wife and Kids to carry on his passion, that is animals to take care of and document their lives as he did..

I have had a cry about it - not everyday a character comes along & can intrigue & educate people of all ages from all walks of life on animals which used to get a bad rap.

I really feel for Terri, I can't even imagine telling her daughter that her dad has died. Awful. But she is strong & Bindi is an amazing little girl - they have numerous friends & family around them to help them continue the wonderful work that Bob Irwin started all those years ago.

I feel annoyed at all the Australians who accused him of being the embarrasement, neigh, may I say the scum of Australia because of his outlandish and larrakin life he was portraying to the world and then they all turn around and say that he was the best thing and that they were always fans. I have alwyas been a Steve fan but this has made me so angry that I am devout and now all these Aussies love him so I am the one left in the wake as just another fan. At least I can rest easy knowing I am the 'loyal' fan! Ok that said I am passionate about becoming one of Steve's Wildlife Warriors! Sorry about my rambling lol
Peace

It's sad that he passed away, he was an interesting person and loved what he did. But I never really thought about it much to make me too sad (I did cry when i watched his memorial service on Animal Planet). What is really sad, now his wife is with two little ones without a daddy.

Really sad. I still can't believe he is gone. He was an amazing person. So inspirational, and full of life. There will never be anyone else like him. I really feel for his family. I'm angry at people who say it was bound to happen, he had a dangerous job...blah, blah, blah...but he knew the risks and he was always careful. I will miss him heaps.

Really sad, he was such a great person. My heart goes out to Terri and the kids, lets hope his work will be carried on by Bindi and Bob when they grow up.

I'm a lot more careful swimming with rays these days.

Other than that, not much has changed. Why? You got some sort of crush (or had?) on him? Hey, what's the suitable period of mourning for a new widow after which a guy can pursue her without it looking trite?
