I promise to send the lyrics as soon as I will translate it or even better, as I will find it. Poetry is a sensible field and I'm afraid not to mistreat the arguments.

EDIT

Here is a good site to listen to the melody.

(this site will not mess up your computer and it is legal).
Follows the lyrics, in greek. I could not find any translation till now, I am sorry.
I'll try a free translation.
I visualize the sun of justice and I beg this sun not to abandon my country...
Look at the mountains; they look like eagles.
Look at the grapevine arbors climbing to the vulcanoes.
Look at those white houses....
Holding a lightening through my embittered hands, I look back in the years and I recall my old friends...
I visualize the sun of justice and I beg this sun not to abandon my country...

It is from the poetic collection of Odisseas Elytis, premium Nobel, entitled: " Το άξιον εστί " and it has been written in 1960-61.
The composer of the melody is Mikis Theodorakis one of the most significant recent greek composers who has opposed the oppressive regime in Greece (1967-1974), mainly with his songs.
This was one of the songs that caracterized the social change that was evolving.
