Why are so many people in denial about the U.S. goverment and the things they do?

You mean the 911 attacks orchestrated by our government, with the help of Mr. Silverstein, the owner of the Trade Towers, who got 7 billion dollars for the destruction of the buildings, as well as giving Rumsfeld his New Pearl Harbor, and Bush political pull in other countries through Mr. Silverstein, who, weeks before the "attacks" got massive insurance on the Trade Towers, which were obsolete, filled with asbestos, and needed to be upgraded just to meet the building codes, and was loosing money on them, because they didnt have adequate wiring, needed to be upgraded just for internet applications, and would cost so much to fix that the insurance companies wouldnt touch them in regards to paying for repairs? Or Haliburtons(Partly owned by Rumsfeld) no bid contracts to work for the government at exhorbitant cost to the tax payers? Or Bush, claiming to have seen the first plane hit the towers, even though the news media wasnt even on the scene yet, as the attack hadnt even happened yet? Or the fact that 7 terrorists armed with box cutters outsmarted the FBI, The CIA, the DOT, the FAA, and The Military, including the ring of anti missle sites that surround the WhiteHouse, The Pentagon, and the House of Congress? Or the fact that Norad, lied about when they were notified? Or the fact that they sent the Air Forcce interceptors the wrong way, AWAY from the jet liners? Or the fact that 2 days prior to the "attack" someone bought Put Options on American Airlines, and United, making a fortune? Or the fact that no one knows what happened to the money, and gold found in Saddams Castles, or where it went? Need I go on? Or how about the nuclear space based weapons platform so quaintly called the International Space Station? Or the fact that Prescott Bush was a Nazi party member in WWII, laundering money for the Nazis? Or the fact that GW Bush tried to make it legal for a foreign born nationalist to become president, so they could run Arnold for president, who happens to be Austrian, same as Hitler, and who's family also had Nazi ties during WWII? Or the fact that GW Bush wrote in his journal that 2 planes had hit the Trade Towers, on September 10th, a day before it actually happened? Or the fact that the debris from the Towers was swiftly hauled off, and sent to china, to be melted down, thereby covering the evidence that Thermite, and Thermate were used on the sub basement supports before hte Towers collapsed? Or the fact that never before had any steel structure building, even those where fires raged for days hadent collapsed? Or the fact that the 911 report was a whitewash? Which do you speak of? The list goes on forever. Not theory, but actual proven facts! The Trade Towers were literally designed to withstand the striking of an air liner, the architects literally say so in their building plans. Or the fact that building 7, which housed evidence of several millionaires defrauding of the Federal Trade Commission, collapsed in a pile of burning rubble, even though it sustained absolutely NO damage from the air liners? Or the fact that the government absolutely ignored warnings from the FBI that something was afoot? Even going so far as to threaten the Agents who were trying to warn of things not right? Or the fact that there were never any wmd's found in Iraq? Or the fact that GW Bush suffers from antisocial disorder? Or the fact that Bush and his cronies have made literally billions of dollars from these crimes, and never will be brought to justice? Or the fact that the elections are now rigged, and that both the democrats and republicans work for Corporate America? I pledged alegience to our Country, not Microsoft, or Haliburton! So much for Our great country. I guess most of the people here have been castrated over the years. This would never have happened 20 years ago. The citizens would never have allowed it. The Constitution says "Government of the People, by the People, and For the People. It does not say We work for the government, but that they work for US! Somewhere along the way the people have forgotten this, and now fear Our own government. Time to take out the trash, I would say!

Doing a number of good thinks like humanitarian consideration and help financially, guidance ,remove illiteracy, help the downtroden has earned a lot of praise for the Americans. The latest offensive against iraq on filmsy grounds { as is believed by many in the world now} has earned wrath from some. But the US feels that it has done a right thing. The end effect is misery to the people of Iraq. US has now started alleviating the result of their wrong diagnosis. They are doing their best to bring back the situation to normal but they are also facing opposition from the hardcores.in Iraq.

The media is spreading propaganda. There was a day when they would have been tried for treason. There is so much BS out there that I would like to see you prove to me what the truth is. How old are you? President Franklin D. Roosevelt was in office when I was born. No one is going to convince me that this all knowing bunch, has more knowledge than the President has. We have an enemy and there is classified information that we don't and shouldn't have access to. Unless this nation's people do not unite and back our President, we are in for a long long war. The Democrates would slit America's throat to get their foot in the White House.

People will complain and moan about how terrible everything is. And do absolutely nothing about it! Except for write in their myspace blog and go to silly "peace" rallies which do nothing.

They need a reality check. Maybe a year long stay in a third world country where saying bad things and condemning the government, political leaders and other such issues could equal death.

So many people are concerned with the alleged bad things that our government is supposedly doing, but why isn't anybody looking at the positive things?No country in the world spends more on medical research,no country spends more on aid to foreign countries,no other country is always willing to step in and help the downtrodden and suppressed around the world, and no other country could ever be my home.

In any crime I would say We should go by the tried and tested investigative method and reasoning, Who stands to gain.

In the 9/11 attacks. who gained, Osama bin laden or Bush.
Not to mention the insurance claim on the twoers of 7 Billion Dollars.

So who could have actually engineered such an attack then?

or Some nomad called Osama In the mountains of Kandahar who doesnt even have cell phones and a decent room to stay in.

They want you to believe wars on Iraq are justified, so they come out with WMDs
No WMDs are found and yet they manage a war at your expense and you digest every little thing they tell you.

They want you to believe they are acting in the name of God and for peace.
That excactly was what they Mocked, The name of God, and that what they took away, Peace, from Iraq from afghanistaan, and so many other places.

If Saddam is to stand trail in his own country for putting down rebellion, and killing antinationals, what should Bush face for invading another country based on a lies, Killing hundreds of thousands of civilians, creating choas, screwing up thier economy, and starting a civil war,

If Saddam is held for his men torturing the khurds who worked against Saddam.
Should bush be held responsible for his men torturing Iraqis in Abu Ghraib prison and carrying out sadist sexual abuse against them?

America is a proud nation like any other, Americans are as patriotic as any other can be, America stands for civil liberties which our govts dread. Americans are a great people.

When someone Comes into your home, Kills your mother, rapes your sister, and slaughters your child all in front of your own eyes, and you fight them back, Is that terrorism.

Plain and simple, its the ostrich effect. People see things they do not like and stick their head in the sand. They don't want to possibly think that something bad could be about George Bush or any of his "cronies" as I like to call them. I see it all the time, people running about saying how good GWB is, with out a shred of actual evidence the man is whom he says he is. There's more evidence to prove otherwise. He puts on a good show in the public eyes, but when it comes down to it the man needs a good swift kick in the @$$.

Because of him over 4,000 people died in the Trade Towers, and because of him, Silverstien got billions for both towers. 7 billion dollars to be exact. 3 wks before the.."terror attacks" Silverstien put out insurance on the Towers. The towers were a mess, needing Asbestos removal as well as upgrades that Silverstien was not willing to pay.

You tell Me 7 billion dollars pays for over 4,000 lives??...Something is wrong here...seriously seriously wrong.

People want to make believe. Pretend like they did when they were kids. Make a pretty colored box, with a pretty ribbon around it and call it our government. When in all actuality its there's nothing pretty about it. People losing their lives and for what??...A few dollars in pockets that already have millions in them??...
