Keep in mind you need to have three basic serves: the flat power
serve, is when you're trying to go for speed, but the kick serve and
slice serve are also important. I have cited some links for you to
try. Start with the basics. Keep your feet apart when you stand
up to serve. Your balltoss should be consistent, and should be a
above your head, so when you extend your serving arm to the highest
point to the head of the racquet, you should make contact. The
follow through is equally important. It should be a nice fluid motion,
no jerkiness at all. It all starts with the preparation, from the proper
feet positioning, to the ball toss, to the time the racquet hits the ball,
all the way to the followthrough and the end result. A tip is to watch
videoclips of how the bestserving pros do it, and you can rewind it to see
what they are doing right, until you can feel comfortable to do it on your
own. Keep practicing your serve, since it will be a very important part of your game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serve_(tennis) might be the
best link of all to help you improve your game. I would recommend also
investing in some tennis instruction books and/or videos as well to help you, or at least borrow them from your nearest library.

well, i don't really know how to explain it but i'll try my best. you have to be there physically to explain well but i'll try. have you been taught? because if you have you should know the loop technique. if not i don't know how to explain. you just need to aim more down and hit higher up. you have to reach as high as you can and aim just over the top of the net. if you are tall it will be easier but i used to be a short kid and i always got mine in. now i am a professional player in moscow. i hope it will work. if not email me and ask. i will try to explain more
