That was what Big Show (real name Paul Wight) was billed when he first came out as 'The Giant', but he was born & raised in St. Louis, and Andre was born in France. They were just both big, so the Show was taking advantage of a gimmick, like many wrestlers do. :)

that's the portrayal the big show(aka the giant in that time)
he came in right when andre went out(rip) and the WCW made him to the fans as his son
