I am a bloody long way from a forest. I live in the Pilbara in West Australia. Red dirt and flies. The best thing about it is the climate. We can have a bbq any night of the year, but the summers can be unbearable. Today for eg was 50deg Celsius - a nasty start to a hot summer.

i used to live in the northern appalachian mountain chain in upstate New York, the forest there were fantastic, the fall was the best because of all the changing colors. i also lived near stokes state forest in new jersey, also awesome forest. lot's of wildlife too, ,bear and deer, hawks, coooooolllll...now i live in texas,yuch...

I live in the desert part of Washington state {yes there is a desert in Washington state}, it's alright. I personally love the smell of trees during the spring time, so it would be nice to have more trees around... but I'm not complaining.

Yes, I have forest, mountians, and a resevoir all around me.
They make me feel at peace. Bees. I can't stand freakin bees.

I love the pine trees and to see the animals. I hate the fact that there are careless people who leave camp fires and fires start and innocent animals die.

Yeah there is, I like it because it's so quiet and peaceful, I don't like it because the livery stables in it are way too expensive!
